Screaming Penguin

I have added new sources based on suggestions for these sites:

• SchoolForge
• Seul Education Application Index
• iTeachNet.org

These are as is obvious education related open source advocacy and resource sites. They are now available via CustomTotSP.

If ANYONE has any other RSS/RDF site suggestions please let me know and I will add them. If you want to peruse some choices check out

Some users of this site have session issues. Specifically when being logged in, then posting a comment, they are logged out. This traces back to a PHP session bug/issue that has been giving me headaches for quite some time now.

happy thanksgiving to all. story posts may be sparse for a few days because most totsp folks are out of town and spending time with family. we will be back soon. step away from the computer, have some turkey and potatoes, and remember that family and friends are what its all about.

Hopefully the move was mostly transparent but its now official, Screaming Penguin is at a new colo facility running on a brand new machine. Smokin'.

I am going to be working on a few last-minute-not-yet-migrated things over the next week or so, such as the community add banners, but for the most part all the functionality is there.

Added a few new sources today. If you are not familiar with customizing your "sources" here then check out CustomTotSP. Or if you want to see all the sources at once and dont want to customize then see view all sources. Also note that you can make your own "auto login" for TotSP by simply including the username and password parameters in the URL that you bookmark to the penguin - ie /tools/login_process.php?username=your_username&password=your_password
