Please try to search for whatever it is you are looking for on the site search, and you should quickly be able to find the same content.

So now the penguin supports openID, in case you hadn't noticed (under the regular login is an openID option).

If you use it, let me know how it flies. I have been using it with claimID as my provider, and it works well. Somebody try an aol ID or such and report back, s'il vous plait.

I was going to roll a Drupal plugin for openID, but since it already exists (http://drupal.org/project/openid), and works, it's all good.

2008!

The traditional first post of the year, for the 10th time at ToTSP. It takes some real effort to have a site that was around before the term "blog" existed, and still have it be unnoticed by the world, that is dedication ;).

I don't have time at the moment to go into a detailed rant, but did want to note one thing. After upgrading TotSP to Drupal 5.1, the XHTML validity is broken again. I forgot that I had to manually hack a few of the modules to not use duplicate "id" attributes (duh). So now we have fancy "Valid XHTML" buttons on every page, and hell no we ain't valid - thanks Drupal.

In the comments the other day I noted that what I find interesting about RSS feeds is not necessarily the stock output of X sites, but rather what catches the eye of actual human beings perusing the lists. Because of that, and because I am looking to make the "News aggregator" category here, in its current state, a bit more interesting, I am officially soliciting your feed of feeds.

If you use Google Reader, or some other RSS readers, you can typically mark something as "interesting" or "shared." And your entire list of these things can then itself be spit out in RSS format.
