Google IO this year has been all over the interwebs and tweetfields. Many great announcements and sessions, and it sounds like many great informal gatherings too. Really very impressive stuff, there hasn't been this much buzz about one company's conference setup since, well, anything Apple does. Recent announcements include: App engine for Java out of preview, Android DC II announced, Google Wave, and Google Web Elements.

No Fluff Just Stuff: Atlanta

I am lucky enough this year to have been able to attend a No Fluff Just Stuff conference (thanks to my employer). It's the first time I have been to an NFJS event, and I have to say, it's pretty damn good (even though it's Friday-Saturday-Sunday, strange time frame - in fact, I am in the conference as I type this).
