I have this in a podcast somewheres too, not sure if its slacker astro or science friday or something. The good doctor might be making the rounds.

Anyway, I havent had a chance to listen yet, whats the "EL61 UB313" deal?

Well, the there are actually 2 groups and 2 objects that have both made about the smae news as TNO objects. The problem is, both groups seems to have "discovered" them at near simultaneous times. EL61 is the Kuiper belt object with a moon, as reported correctly in the NewSci articles previously noted on the penguin. UB313, however, is the "Larger than Pluto" object.

So its planets 10 and 11 if you accept they are big enough to be planets and stuff out that far should be planets?
