Speed Speed Speed.
This build is all about speed!
1. Added cross context ram cache on WireFeeds. This means that the totsp-commons, jdom and rome packages HAVE to be in share lib. If you don't set the cache.local (which contains the context name the cache lives in) property, it will use the old system, and this requirement isn't there.
2. Added cleaned content ram cache so it's not jtidying a thousand things all the time.
3. If you (like me) have an ambient assload of stuff on your page, you might consider using the new "Entry Descriptions" toggle option on the clusters. This will supress the output of entry descriptions on the page and lower the total page size. Since FF doesn't want to render a page until it has the whole thing and ungzips it, this can cause a 2-3 second pause in the whole browser. KHTML based browsers and Opera don't seem to have this issue. It would seem they stream inflate.
There is a bug with this right now where the edit page always autopopulates to "true". If you change it, however, it will work.
4. I decreased the requests to schedule.
5. Feed feching now has a handler to properly follow off-host redirects to feeds. This was causing problems since a lot of people redirect to FeedBurner.com now :P
6. On expired filesystem entries, the system will now serve the last fectched version and enqueue a high priority fetch of the feed. If a feed looks really old to you, wait a few seconds and hit reload and see if it updates.
As part of these changes, the entire filesystem cache was purged, so it may take a little longer on the first request to get started if you have a feed in your profile and you are the only one who has it. From a cold start, the system will still go and get the feed as part of the page render.
