2006 Fields Medal Winners announced, and Grigori is not "of any public interest"

Grigori Perelman won a 2006 Fields Medal today for his work on the "Ricci Flow" (related to the Poincare Conjecture of course, duh). However, Grigori is apparently something of a character (described as "shy and unwordly" in his Wikipedia profile) and he declined to show up to accept the medal. NPR this morning stated that a reporter tracked him down living with his mother in St. Petersburg and he said "surely nothing I say can be of any public interest" and declined further comment.

Now, does he live with his mother, or does his mother live with him. That could be quite the distinction. I mean, Norman Bates, lived with his mother, but a good guy will let his mother live with him. Then again, if it's a choice between homeless and going back home when you're older, eh, maybe I'm just grasping at straws to make this not sound weird. What is that strange smell eminating from the basement anyways Grigori. I should probably stop, can't hate on a guy for being a friggin' genius, I mean if you can solve a Millenium problem and win a Fields Medal, you can probably do whatever you like and it's not gonna matter. But if he goes to funerals looking for women....damn that would be funny.
