A first look at GIMP 2.4 The newly updated SIOX Forground Extractor looks really damn cool (its been in GIMP since 2.3 apparently). That and lots of other nice new features like color management. Checkit: GIMP.org

The software that was used for the review is actually just a cvs co of HEAD (i.e. 2.3) which will some day stabilise to become 2.4... it\'s just the odd/even development model, so don\'t feel that you\'ve been missing out on things!

ah, thanks. I knew 2.4 wasnt out yet, but thought 2.3 was, rather than just being the HEAD.
