Mac man bringing Konfabulator to Windows before "Dashboard" comes to Tiger

Tagged:
Konfabulator has been a popular Mac program for some time. Its basically an application that allows the use of other small graphical apps that are deemed "widgets". The next release of OS X, Tiger, will have a feature called "Dashboard" that is pretty much the same thing. Konfabulator creator, Arlo Rose, accused Apple of copying his idea. Apple of course declined that, stating that "widgets" have long been a part of Mac OSes and NextStep (the OS X "predecessor"). The plans to move Konfabulator to Windows were supposedly already in the works but were maybe accelerated with the approach of Tiger. that is pretty cool. to be honest i have not used a Linux desktop in quite a while. i have a few at home and at the office but my main linux usage is server (and virtually all the servers i work with are Linux, a few Solaris, a few AS/400). for desktop stuff i use winders at the office (because its required) and at home i use mostly OS X. (yet i did not spend a bundle on macs, i bought several used macs that were great deals).
