Bush and Kerry battle over science

BBC has reproduced a synopsis with the 7 "major" science related questions.

These are: Stem-cell research, Climate change, New nuclear weapons, Missile defence, Manned space exploration, GM crops and US lifestyles.

Just reading this straight up and not considering ANY other positions on ANYTHING I would rate this a 5 things Kerry anwers more to my liking and 2 things they tie on (and I would deduct a point from Bush for going over the allotted number of words as defined at the outset ;)). Total score KERRY 5 | BUSH -1.

(I give Kerry points for stem cells (point and a half here, very different approaches and Kerrys is the only sane one), climate change (half a point here, Kerry seems to want to actually deal with the problem a bit more but makes no commitments to anything) nukes, missile defense and manned space exploration. I see no real difference in the answers on crops or lifestyles, thus tie.)
