The last time this came up it was April Fools day, well thats not the case this time and the virtual keyboard looks legit. The virtual keyboard is a keyboard that is projected onto any surface and becomes a full size working keyboard. Its very very promising, its not for everyone because obviously the "feedback" of keys that we take for granted wont be there (the feel of the key being depressed, got it, etc) but it should help immensely with cluttered and clumsy mobile and small devices.
TotSP reported on this device once before but only very sketchy details were then available (at least what I could find). More is available now, check the linked BBC article for details about the technology and the company that makes the device. The keyboard that isnt there: BBC
