Rfc1149 or CPIP as it is more commonly known (Carrier Pigeon Internet Protocol) will certainly be the avian IP standard of the future. Sneakernet and the famous "never underestimate the power of a 79 Plymouth wagon with magnetic tapes" quote may have to yield to this new more environmentally friendly approach.
