I have posted a few WAP and WML related stories lately (even though I am admittedly not so excited about the kludgy 9600 BAUD technology.) Regardless of your personal outlook on it, knowing a bit about WAP and WML cant hurt ya and impresses most managment types (hype hype hype.)
Along with the previous resources (such as this WML and PHP Overview story on TotSP) there is some new stuff to divulge. PHPBuilder has a much more comprehensive tutorial called Building Dynamic WML Sites and some of the comments point to other good stuff such as an online browser based WML emulator. Yes the software dev kits for wireless the (such as OpenWave UP SDK) are also good but the browser one is, well, kinda like anything in a browser, available everywhere you can browse and requires no local stuff.
The browser based emulator is http://virtual.wapjag.com/. Note that you can also browse directly to a WML URL by appending it as a variable as such: http://virtual.wapjag.com/?url=wireless.screaming-penguin.com. (yep TotSP does have a "wireless" rev, checkit via the above link, its cool and all but I am sure no one actually goes there, it was more of a "can I do it" thing.) http://virtual.wapjag.com/
