Networld Interop is a MEGA networking industry marketing show. Along with that, for the last few years they have included the Linux Business Expo in another hall. Both shows are mainly about the hype (and of course the free stuff, crappy stuff generally, but T shirts for mountain biking nonetheless) but each also does have a conference and tutorial session that has some substance.
Check out the details and schedules on the NI site (be forewarned, this site is written with an evil proprietary scripting language called "Cold Fusion", and while it is not CFs fault, its the developers fault, each time you go into a nav position past the home page and click something back on the left hand menu, elsewhere in the site, kinda like a website, it blows up (looks like the relative paths are way off) so you have to go back to home and THEN to your destination to surf the site, NICE! Even though they hold the conference, it does not neccessarily mean they actually KNOW anything about computing.) Again, check it all via the site and note that ZDEvents runs this show through a company called Key3 (just FYI.)
Also, I will be attending the "Integrating Apache" conference of the Linux Business Expo today and reporting back here, so check back for a synopsis and review. Interop
