Screaming Penguin - Source Does Matter

With quad Pentium III Xeon processors and either Linux or NT, SGI enters the market with an operating system other than its own proprietary Unix, IRIX, for the first time ever. Now the choice here should be clear, but the significance is the choice itself. New servers from all vendors (in the near future) will offer a choice, NT or Linux. Linux is making real inroads in the middle ground PC Server market, and the desktop is next.
