I would suggest speaking to labour lawyer and suing for wrongful dismissal. It is clear based on your testimony that it all boils down to did you receive permission or not. If you did then the manager & supervisor would have to lie in court to validate Best Buys actions. If their statements in court were proven to be false prejury is still a very serious offense.
Just wanted to comment real quickly about your cursive comments: "...not allowed to use it out of 3rd and 4th grade." and the other one about not using it again past 4th grade, "ever". I recently read about cursive being faster than print to write and thus, a faster way for college kids to take notes. Regarding the comment about not using it beyond elementary school is interesting. I teach school and also have elementary age children of my own. I find it an incredible embarrassment to my profession to receive hand written notes and or progress reports (ours are hand written) from my child's teacher that look like they are written by a first grader. I teach my students to write in cursive and if they grow up and "never use it", so be it, but if they do have a job that requires it, they will at least know how to do it. I Just wanted to share that. Thanks for your time.
iPhone Camp Atlanta did QR codes on badges (see my blog write-up), embedding the attendees name, company, e-mail, and Twitter URL. Way slick. I'd love to see most/all conferences do this.
I lost over 100 lbs- no specific program, just getting back to healthy habits I'd followed when I was younger and thinner (prior to the accident that helped me gain in the first place). I drank diet sodas here and there and didn't feel a negative effect. I'd estimate an average of one every other day, but would consume a few in a single day on occasion. Most of them, however, were caffeine-free. I cut out most caffeine years ago and for that I definitely *do* feel a difference. Everyone is different, however.
I was recently diagnosed as borderline diabetic, so I need to monitor my blood sugar closely. Typically, I can maintain it between 125 and 150. Twice now, after drinking diet coke and eating nothing, my sugar spiked to nearly 200. Something is definitely wrong there. Both times, however, was a fountain drink, so it was caffeinated. I'll be testing it out again with caffeine-free DC to see if it makes a difference.
I have been dieting (protein diet) for several months and lost quite a few kilos early then levelled out. I started exercising more and will switch to calorie counting now as the protein diet won't work as well with exercisin (!) Now the next step I am trying is to stop DC! After quite a few days of headaches (simmilar to not drinking enough water while playing sport) I have now found sleeping a bit easier and hope to start losing weight again real soon! I will keep watching this discussion. :-)
Ummm if you looked that the contents of the Elite system in the Walmart store before you bought it, how come u didn't notice the headset or the bonus games missing?
Yeah actually 2 Motorola phones are supposed to drop soon, one with the Sholes CPU (nice). I don't know the exact dates, I try to not worry about all that (there are literally 20 that are "about" to drop). I think AndroidGuys has info on them, and Engadget, etc.
The listen app looks cool as well. Any word on when the next generation of android phones (isn't Motorola coming out with something nice?) are due to ship? I am happily ready to pass my iPhone on to someone else in the office.
something very similar happened to me once because I was listed on a non-profit website as the webmaster, the company said that violated rule h1n1 of paragraph 19 of the employee manual... these guys have to do this from time to time and it is a lot easier to fire people for trumped up offenses because it doesn't create bad press or force them to pay unemployment.... the reason is because they can not manage their business and are short on funds and so they order comes out to cull the ranks by use of these witch hunt tactics.... you're better off being out of that environment.
I must say, we love JIRA, we can live without most of QC but we like QTP.
We are using a tool called synapsert.com
It lets us make and manage our requiremetns INSIDE of JIRA. It also lets us make testcases and test suites inside of JIRA too. Now we can link them end-to-end inside of JIRA.
Our Test Team only works in QC so we bought an integration between QC and JIRA.
Our end goal is to migrate everything out of QC and only keep QTP. Everything else will be done in JIRA.

Yahoo probably gets most of its revenue from advertising. Ive no problem with that but I do object to my personal details being used to help target me as a potential customer.
I also object to those idiot advertisements that use sound or moving images to sell stuff. How much bandwidth do those things use up anyway?
As soon as I can find a substitute for YH, Im out of here.
That should no be the issues raised up but yes one should have in mind that while giving names one should not use it to make fun out of it & if that is satisfied then I think there will be no comments regarding it.
mavenization is really not too hard, surprisingly, with this first cut of script i developed to mavenize a very, very large netbeans project.
just about anything with ./lib, ./src, and so forth is a peice of cake. i produce the ./lib into a self-contained repo affectiuonately packaged 'deprecated'
Wow thats a bunch of shit right there.I thought Best Buy only did that crap when you used a check or debit/credit card for payment. As for Walmart they do that BS all the time.If they can reseal or at least make it look new they will resell it.Why can Best Buy have one sent to your local store?Ah the joys of customer service today.Whatever happened to the days of the customer is always right?
You've got your acronyms backward in the title. Don't suppose you could change the title of this article to the correct acronyms could you? I came here looking for an open source ERM tool or review, and got this instead.
support in place, it then became pretty easy to write tests for a main[] method class, not only checking the exit codes, but also redirecting the System.out and System.err output and asserting against it as well. My AppTest test class demonstrates. Thankyou..
I'm just wondering if anyone has had luck getting QTP to do anything through a linux bash shell? Does it have that capability? Perhaps with Vbscript? Or an add-on? Basically I would want it to be able to ssh into a system and execute commands in a bash shell. This is in addition to being able to automate gui testing, since we have a mixed environment. If not, are there any good alternatives? Thanks.
Hey, I need to talk to you about something. Email or Tweet direct, or call, or something. I have been trying to get a hold of you.
Oh, and I am going to begin trying to move penguin to AppEngine. I have a few angles around that I think will work, and will even import the Drupal stuff. I will send you an email about that too.
I have seen several respected people proclaim that they think Chrome OS won't fly at all (Ted Neward, Kas Thomas, for starters). I disagree, and I think they are missing the point a bit.
Google isn't trying to "compete" with MS in the OS game, nor are they trying to take on their "enemy" on "their own turf." They are going to keep it simple, strip it down, and make the browser the app engine. Yes people have tried network centric computing before, but not like this. Not just using the BROWSER with no plugins, no crap, go. Never before has this really been possible - as JavaScript VMs get better, and HTML 5 emerges, and so on, this should come in to focus for people.
If not, they can recant later when they are using their Chrome OS machines to write their columns ;).
We must remember always that accusation is not proof, and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear - one, of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of un-reason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men; Not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate, and to defend causes that were - for the moment - unpopular.

Sorry mate, but after using QC for some months all these positive comments (and yours is the biggest) sound like a commercial ad.
And... don't turn this into the N-th "Windows vs rest of the world" discussion, please.
Yep, I will change the initialisms, they are munged - though this is a pretty old story (sorry about it dragging you here) ;).
